Morgan's Skin.....

Minus one antibiotic, this is the stash used to get Morgan's skin back to normal over the last couple of weeks. She broke out all over her face again (we're thinking because of some sun exposure), and a couple of days later we noticed a strange rash-like something on her elbow. Turns out, she ALSO had a staph infection! It was all the way up her right arm, a little bit on her left arm, and on one of her knees. We switched dermatologists (her first one didn't seem willing enough to help), and so far I'm pretty happy with the second one. The staph infection was easy to treat (not very convenient, but that's ok)....the big problem is the OTHER reactions she's been having. This doctor thinks that there is something more than just photosensitivity (the short name for what Morgan has) going on. We have another appointment this week, so hopefully he's had some time to do some research and maybe has some kind of plan in mind for her.
Morgan is looking and feeling SO much better, but she definitely had a rough couple of weeks trying to deal with all of this. I'm crossing my fingers that this will be the last breakout for awhile, and that she will be able to enjoy the holidays without having to stress about her skin.
